Uses of Nanoclays and Adsorbents for Dye Recovery: A Textile Industry Review

نویسندگان

چکیده

Wastewater recovery is one of the most pressing contaminant-related subjects in textile industry. Many cleaning and techniques have been applied recent decades, from physical separation to chemical separation. This work reviews wastewater by focusing on natural or synthetic nanoclays order compare their capabilities. Presently, a wide variety are available that can adsorb substances dissolved water. review summarizes describes nanoclay modifications for different structures (laminar, tubular, etc.) adsorption performance under best conditions. adsorbent capacity be used contaminant industries recover water recontaminated during second use close production circle. It explores proposes future perspectives hybrid compounds generated after certain steps. critical works studied desorption procedures structures. Finally, it makes application proposal taking into account summarized pros cons each nanoclay. addresses reuse, where part employed dyes reused printing even dyeing processes, depending fixing dye nanoclay, which herein discussed.

Isolation, characterization and screening of actinomycetes from textile industry effluent for dye degradation

Textile industry is one of the oldest and largest industries of India. Synthetic dyes are coloring agents mainly used in textile industries which generate a huge amount of wastewater in the process of dyeing. It is estimated that these industries discharge around 280,000 tons of dyes worldwide every year into the environment (Tom Sinoy and Anuradha Mohan, 2011). Discharge of these colored efflu...

Removal of Dyes from Textile Industry Effluent: A Review

Effluent from the textile industry contains toxic compounds. These compounds contaminate the surface water, thereby making it unfit for irrigation and drinking. Since farmers use water from the rivers for agricultural purposes and the residents of the town, use both the surface and underground water from the same area as potable water, it is quite unsafe to discharge this effluent into water bo...
